NAG-SHARE ng advice ang mga former beauty queen na Cindy Miranda, Franki Russell, at Priscilla Meirelles sa lahat ng nagbabalak sumabak sa mundo ng pageantry.
Nakachikahan ng ilang members ng entertainment media ang tatlong aktres sa mediacon ng “The Fake Socialite”, ang latest microdrama ng Viva Movie Box (VMB) streaming platform, last Tuesday, April 14.
Sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, kinoronahan si Cindy bilang Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2013, si Franki ay nanalong Miss Cosmo New Zealand 2024 habang si Priscilla ay waging Miss Globe International 2003 at Miss Earth 2004.
Payo ni Franki, “Even if you’re half considering it, do it. Now is the time. You know, even if you try once, it doesn’t mean you can’t try again and try again.”
Binanggit din niya sina Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach at Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo na ilang beses sumubok sa pageant bago nila nagetsing ang kanilang crown.
“I think just go for it. Don’t worry about what other people would think. You could always find support and talk to other people,” aniya pa.
Para kay Priscilla, “If that’s the way you feel, why not try? We just have one life, so just go for it. Surround yourself with people who can support your dream, who believe in you, and who will help you elevate yourself.
“And give your best, give your all. Whatever the outcome, it doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, no matter what you put yourself in, I think nanalo ka kapag binigay mo nang todo-todo,” dagdag ng nakahiwalay na asawa ni John Estrada.
Dagdag pa niyang advice, “Just make sure that when you go to those environments, you are surrounded by people who have your best interests at heart because we need to be very aware also that there is a world that can be very corrupted.
“You need to be very careful, especially if you’re a single lady, not to go to certain places on your own. If your parents can accompany you, or if you have a family member or someone you trust who can always be beside you, that’s a plus.
“It will help ensure that you are only in the places where you need to be,” saad ni Priscilla.
Agree naman si Cindy sa mga pahayag nina Franki at Priscilla, “’Yung lakas pa lang ng loob mo, na naisip mong sumali, alam mo ’yon, eh, na kaya mo kasi.
“Kahit sabihin pa ng ibang kaibigan mong ’di ka pa ready, you go for it. Baka next year, wala ka nang lakas ng loob.
“Sa mundo natin ngayon, ang hirap makakuha ng lakas ng loob, lalo na sa mga babae. Grabe ang kumpetisyon. Matalo ka man o manalo sa pageant na ’to, after that pageant, I’m sure you’re a better person. Sobrang layo mo na doon sa kung saan ka nagsimula,” aniya pa.
