“SANA ang maka-date ko in the future is a godly man, “ ito ang mensahe ni Priscilla Meirelles sa sarili nang tanungin siya ni Kuya Boy Abunda sa “Fast Talk” guesting niya nitong Biyernes, February 13.
Tuloy pa, “I really hope Tito Boy that I still find love, I still find someone that I can share my life with, I don’t think I’m too old for thatm I hope not. I really hope I can find someone that I really like feel my best (or) be my best version.”
Inamin ding hoping din si Priscilla na magkaroon pa ng anak sa taong makakasama at makakapagpasaya sa kanya in the future.
Nasambit ito ng dating beauty queen dahil officially single na siya dahil nagfile siya ng divorce sa Brazil last year at na-grant naman ito.

Ang aktor na si John Estrada ang diniborsyo ni Priscilla.
Aniya, “we’re no longer married which means being a foreigner may Karapatan ako to divorce my husband, so, last 2024 I went to Brazil and I didn’t announce to anyone because ayaw ko ng magsalita ng mga bagay na hindi pa napatunayan (tapos).
“So, I want it to be ready when I opened my mouth it’s a fact. So, I went to Brazil I process the papers needs to process and I left (special) power of attorney to my lawyer to apply for divorce.”
Humingi ng eksplenasyon ang Fast Talk host dahil sa Pilipinas ikinasal sina Priscilla at John pero sa Brazil nag-file ng divorce, pinapayagan daw bai to at legal?
“Yes because I got married in the Philippines but I registered my marriage in Brazil which means both my marriage is valid in Brazil and in the Philippines but being a foreigner I am entitled (and) it’s my right to divorce. In my country divorce is allowed,” esplika ni Priscilla.
Ganito rin ang nangyari noon sa ex-couple na Tom Rodriguez na isang US citizen at Carla Abellana na ikinasal din dito sa Pilipinas ay nag-file ng divorce ang aktor sa Amerika at kaagad ding napawalang bisa ang kasal nang dalawa.
Going back to Priscilla ay natanong ni kuya Boy kung bakit siya nagdesisyon na idiborsyo si John.
“Because tito Boy, the marriage is no longer valid. I don’t see myself sharing my life with that person anymore!” diretsong sabi ni Priscilla.
Ipinaglaban naman daw ng beauty queen/actress ang kasal nil ani John sa loob ng 14 years pero hindi na niya kinaya kaya naisip niyang mag move forward na mag-isa.
Hindi raw nagustuhan ni John na diniborsyo siya ng nanay ng anak niyang si Samantha Anechka at ang tanong daw ng aktor, “Pri (tawag kay Priscilla), bakit ginawa mo ‘yab?”
“At sinabi ko sa kanya I have told you, I don’t see myself sharing with you anymore and I don’t think any reason to stay married to you if I don’t see myself to you as my partner, my companion, I don’t see a future with you.
“I got married to him (14 years ago) because I saw a future and I want to build something with him and when did build something to a certain time but a lot of things happened tito Boy but our interest are not align anymore, our values are not align anymore, the things that we look forward to are not align anymore, we’re just sharing a home and it doesn’t makes sense to me.
“To be stuck in a relationship where you don’t have much to share to that person and you don’t see your future with that person, so, na-explain ko sa kanya (John) na I done a lot of things in the sense that I warned him so many times and I tried so many ways, I tried to fight him, I tried to ne quiet, I tried so many things to save the marriage, we went to psychiatrist, we did couples therapy and did not happen unfortunately. I was trying to save my family and he was having fun,” mahabang kuwento ni Priscilla.
“Nagulat nga raw si John dahil hindi niya in-expect na gagawin ko,” say ni Priscilla.
Tawag nga raw sa ex-wife ni John ay ‘martyr wife’ bagay na itinanggi ni Priscilla ang tanging layunin niya ay gusto niyang ipaglaban ang pamilya niya pero dahil siya lang ang lumalaban ay minabuti na lang niyang i-let go ang pagiging mag-asawa nila ng aktor at para na rin sa ikatatahimik niya ay pakikipaghiwalay ang naging sagot.
Naging emosyonal si Priscilla sap ag-aming hindi buo ang pamilya niya noong bata siya hanggang sa lumaki na siya at ito ang dahilan kaya gusto niya ng buong pamilya kasama si John at anak nila.
Samantala, mananatiling dito maninirahan si Priscilla dahil gustong dumito ng anak nil ani John dahil dito siya nag-aaral at gusto ring makasama ng bata ang tatay niya pero hindi raw pinigilan ni Anechka iwan ng mommy niya ang daddy niya dahil alam niyang magiging maligaya at masaya ito sa naging desisyon.
“Was there a 3rd party?’ tanong ni kuya Boy.
Natawa ng todo si Priscilla, “tito Boy ang dami sila, eh. Hindi lang 3rd, 4th, 5th buong Barangay, ha, ha. You know it’s like I’m all laughing about it because John has always a very colorful wife and people always say na, ‘ang tanga-tanga ko kasi alam ko lahat ng past niya that he has married and failed. Kami naman we had a conversation between me and John and never niyang itinago ang past niya pero he promised me that he will be a different man for me ti a point na nagbago siya pero ang nagyari tito Boy, parang hindi siya nagbago, eh.”
Anyway, nabanggit din ni Priscilla na sa kasalukuyan ay magsisimula ulit siya sa kanyang showbiz career kaya kinausap niya si John na suportahan ang anak nila at makikihati siya kapag stable na ang finances niya bagay na sinang-ayunan ng aktor.
“In fairness he (John) never say no. John .ove language is really like that through food and gifts, he really provides his kids with the best,”papuri ni Priscilla sa ex-husband niya.
Araw ng mga Puso ngayon, ano ang mensahe ni Priscilla kay John, “sana ‘yung maka-date mo maganda, ha, ha, ha, ha. ‘Yun lang tito Boy.”
