Undas 2025: DICT inarangkada ang Oplan Bantay Signal: ‘I-report ang mahinang signal!’

BAGO ka pa mainis sa mahina o nawawalang signal, habang nasa biyahe, aba, gusto ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na malaman ‘yan!

“Uuwi para sa Undas? Tapos mahina ang signal sa lugar ninyo? I-report agad!” sey ng DICT sa kanilang recent Facebook post.

Dagdag ng ahensya, “The President said that the signal should be good across the country. 

That’s why under Oplan Bantay Signal of the DICT, we are encouraging you to send your mobile speed test results so that we can see which areas have weak or no signal at all.”

At dahil gusto ng DICT na mas mapabilis pa ang pagtukoy sa mga lugar na may mahina na signal o walang signal at all, narito ang step-by-step guide para mag-report sa kanila:

1. I-download muna ang Opensignal Internet Speed Test app (available sa Android at Apple iOS).
2. Patayin ang Wi-Fi, gamitin lang ang mobile data.
3. Buksan ang Opensignal app at i-on ang location services.
4. Patakbuhin ang speed test.
5. Screenshot mo ang resulta.
6. Ipadala sa e-mail na 1326@dict.gov.ph kasama sa subject line ang mobile network provider at lokasyon mo.

Sabi pa ng DICT, bawat report ay malaking tulong para malaman nila kung saang parte ng bansa ang may mahina o walang signal, para raw mas mapaayos nila ang connectivity sa buong Pinas.

“Each report will be of a big help in making it easier to map areas in the country with weak or no signal. Let us help each other in digitizing for a more connected New Philippines,” ani pa ng ahensya.
