Vice Ganda naghahanap ng Gen Z host para sa Showtime; Shuvee pak na pak!

HINDI na pala binibilang ng Phenomenal Box-office Star na si Vice Ganda kung gaano na siya katagal sa entertainment industry.

May sinabi raw kasi sa kanya noon ang yumaong executive ng ABS-CBN na si Deo Endrinal tungkol sa pagse-celebrate ng anniversary sa mundo ng showbiz.

“Hindi ko na ma-count (kung ilang taon na sa TV at movie industry). ‘Yung ‘Showtime,’ 17 years na. ‘Yung little ponies, may mga anak na,” ang pahayag ni Vice sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.

Aniya pa, “Hindi ko na ma-count kasi before ayaw ni Sir Deo na nagsi-celebrate ng anniversary sa showbiz kasi raw tatanda sa mga audience kapag nalalaman nila ‘yung tagal mo sa showbiz. 

“Hindi ka puwedeng tumanda. Kailangan ‘yung postura mo, mukhang bata. ‘Yung trip ng mga bata, dapat nauunawaan mo,” paliwanag pa ng TV host-comedian.

Nabanggit din ni Vice na naghahanap na rin sila ng younger hosts para sa “It’s Showtime” dahil nagkakaedad na rin ang mga original host at nag-iiba na ang mga priorities dahil nga may mga pamilya na.

“Noon ko pa gustong kumuha ng Gen Z na hosts kasi siyempre nagtatandaan na ang lahat. Nag-iiba na rin ang priorities. 

“Si Anne (Curtis), may family. Si Jhong (Hilario), time sa family. Kailangang may makita ‘yung audience na makaka-relate sila. ‘Yung mga PBB now, pinapasama ko. 

“Si Shuvee (Etrata), mag-semi regular na sa amin. Magaling siya. Nagsu-switch din ang personality niya,” aniya pa. 

Samantala, bilang negosyante naman, aminado si Vice na hindi pa siya expert sa larangang ito, lalo na sa aspetong pinansiyal. Kabilang na rito ang matagumpay niyang Vice Comedy Club sa Quezon City.

“Hindi rin naman ako masyadong magaling sa negosyo kaya kailangan talaga na ‘yung partners ko ay pinagkakatiwalaan ko talaga katulad ni Neil (Arce, sa VCC),” sabi ni Vice.
