Nadine Lustre might just be working with VIVA again.
During the digital media conference of Vivamax, VIVA's subscription video-on-demand streaming service, VIVA Communications, Inc. president and chief operating officer Vincent del Rosario confirmed that the company will be meeting with Nadine to discuss future potential projects.
"I think in a few weeks we're presenting to Nadine some projects na she may want to consider doing for us, movie projects, for Vivamax, or for the cinema. We're sitting down soon."
"Boss Vic (del Rosario) has asked us to come up with ideas, projects that we can present to her so we're very excited with the opportunity to work with her again and hopefully, maybe soon. Also with James (Reid), whether through his music or sa pag-aartista."
In January 2020, Nadine issued a statement through her lawyers that she is terminating her contract with VIVA Artists Agency (VAA). In response, VIVA maintained that Nadine remains its exclusive contract artist despite her decision. In June 2021, a Quezon City court ruled that Nadine should uphold her contract with VIVA.
Nadine's ex-boyfriend, James, left the agency in 2019.
"Sa aming end, I think maraming beses na nasabi naman ni Boss Vic na especially sa case ni Nadine, since we have an active contract with her, na we want to work with her, we want her to do projects for us, and we're just finding the right materials. Kasi siyempre hinahanap din naman namin yung bagay sa kanya at saka yung matutuwa siyang gawin. We're sure, within the year, we'll be announcing a project with her. And hopefully, beyond that, even si James, whether them as a couple or individually."
Vincent also mentioned that Nadine has been keeping in touch with Vic.
"From my end, alam ko si Nadine nakapag-usap sila ni Boss Vic (del Rosario), nabanggit sa amin. Not sure about James. Kasi wala naman siyang active contract with us, si Nadine kasi meron."

"Nadine naman is like family to us. We've seen her grow in terms of being an artist and as a person."
Nadine has been a VIVA talent since 2009. She started out as part of a girl group, Pop Girls, and later on got her big break in her movie with James, Diary Ng Panget. Her last project with VIVA was the 2019 dance movie, Indak.
