Kris Bernal On Postponing Her Dream Wedding: 'It was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made'
Over the weekend, Kris Bernal revealed that she was supposed to get married to her non-showbiz boyfriend Perry Choi on June 5, 2021! Unfortunately, the pair decided to postpone the ceremony. Kris talked about making the tough decision on Instagram, where she also posted an adorable photo from their prenup shoot.
According to Kris, they had their hearts set on June 5, but when the COVID-19 cases in the country rose in April 2021, they decided to move the wedding. They also consulted their family, friends, and wedding suppliers.
Part of Kris's caption reads: "I remember crying so hard that day as I was having a hard time sending my cancellation message. I think it was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made but we need to prioritize the health and safety of the most important people in our lives." Kris added that the important thing is that the wedding is "not entirely canceled" and that they are "prioritizing the safety of everyone above anything else."

In one of her YouTube vlogs, Kris revealed that they were brought together by business. Perry is a chef and businessman, and he was the meat supplier of Kris's burger joint! Perry proposed to Kris in February 2020, when Kris planned a "surprise" birthday party for him. In December 2020, Kris also revealed that they were building their dream house.
