Andrea Torres On Her Rumored Sitcom With John Lloyd Cruz: 'Malaking honor 'yon for me'

It's only been a few weeks since John Lloyd Cruz announced his showbiz comeback, and already netizens are buzzing about his projects.

Earlier, Wowowin host Willie Revillame confirmed that he invited John Lloyd to be his guest on the GMA-7 television special 6-6 Shopee Super Mega Fiesta on June 6. This will be Lloydie's first TV appearance since his hiatus. According to a report by PEP.ph, John Lloyd also signed a contract with Willie's legal counsel Atty. Ferdie Domingo, along with a number of executives from the e-commerce brand.

Rumor has it that Willie is producing a sitcom for GMA, which will reportedly star John Lloyd and Andrea Torres as his leading lady. The show will allegedly be directed by Bobot Mortiz. During the May 31 episode of Willie's show Tutok To Win, he talked about welcoming John Lloyd into his production company and about a meeting together with the actor and some bosses from GMA. Willie also announced that he is working on a project  for Lloydie and that his co-star's initials are "A. T."

"Kung sakaling magkakaroon kami ng programa at may plano in the future, nag-usap naman kami ni John Lloyd na kasama siya sa production. He will be one of the producers."

"Kung matutuloy, ang makakasama niya si 'A. T.'"

While there has been no confirmation about the show and its cast, Andrea shared her reaction to the possible pairing in an interview with GMA-7 showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas.

Andrea Torres is currently filming episodes for her upcoming GMA-7 soap, Legal Wives, with Dennis Trillo and Alice Dixson.
