‘2026 is the new 2016’: Ilang celebs kumasa sa trend, inalala ang iconic 2016 era
SA pagpasok ng 2026, muling nagbalik sa online world ang isang pamilyar na vibe, kagaya ng Snapchat dog-ear filters, flower crowns, chokers, at oversaturated selfies.
Ito ang trend na tinawag ng netizens na “2026 is officially the new 2016.”
At syempre, hindi papahuli ang mga celebrity at influencer na kumasa sa uso, na kung saan ay bumandera ang decade-old selfies, throwback tour photos, hanggang sa curated photo dumps na punong-puno ng feels.

Ang taong 2016 ay tunay na “golden year” para kay Andi Eigenmann.
“From jet setting, magazine covers, and the Cannes Film Festival, (even witnessing my nanay make history as the first Asian Best Actress winner), to winning my very first FAMAS for Best Actress,” sambit niya.
Ngunit sa likod ng tagumpay, inamin niyang tahimik siyang nakikipaglaban sa kanyang mental health, na kalauna’y naging turning point para pumili ng mas payapang buhay.
“I eventually stepped away from the limelight, guided by my mental health and a deeper need for peace. But I will always cherish these moments as some of the best days of my life too,” dagdag pa niya.
“2016 wasn’t just about being successful. It was about becoming,” wika pa niya.
