Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo humingi ng dasal, asawa’t anak may sakit

NANAWAGAN ang dating pangulo ng Pilipinas at ngayo’y Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo na ipagdasal ang kanyang pamilya na dumaraan sa pagsubok.

Sa isang statement na inilabas nitong Lunes, March 1, ibinahagi ng dating pangulo na kasalukuyang may pagsubok sa kalusugan ng kanyang anak at asawa.

“This has been a difficult time for the family. First, my husband Mike’s dissecting aortic aneurism that required an emergency repair in 2007 is expanding again, and he will have to undergo a big surgery, combining a bypass and an aortoplasty, on April 7 to avert another emergency,” pagbabahagi ni Arroyo.

Samantala, nagkaroon naman ng thyroid cancer ang kanyang anak na si Mike.

“Then, our son Mikey’s biopsy-revealed Stage One cancer of the thyroid gland, and he underwent surgery last March 18, thankfully, a successful one,” sey pa ni Arroyo.

Ibinahagi rin niya ang pagpanaw ng asawa ng pamangkin kamakailan.

“Meanwhile, Paowee Tantoco, the husband of our niece Dina, who spent the first four years of her life in our home, passed away,” dagdag ni Arroyo.

Nabanggit rin niya ang nalalapit nilang pag-alis sa Pilipinas para pumunta sa Singapore sa magiging surgery ng anak.

“I have been spending much time with my constituents in Pampanga because I will be leaving soon for Singapore for Mike’s surgery. Please pray for my family,” sabi pa ni Arroyo.
