Sam Milby is mourning the death of his father, Lloyd William Milby.
On Wednesday, Sam took to Instagram to share a photo of what appeared to be their hands clasped together.
"Rest in peace, Dad... Love you..." Sam wrote.

"Always standing with you in prayer," commented Sam's girlfriend, 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
Sam's celebrity friends such as Bea Alonzo, KC Concepcion, Lea Salonga, Iza Calzado, and Kylie Verzosa also shared their prayers and condolences in the comments.
Lloyd was 87. Sam did not share the reason behind his father's passing.
In a September 2020 video interview with Push, Sam shared how he misses his parents who are based in Ohio. He also revealed that his father has dementia, a condition that involves a loss of memory, thinking, and social abilities.

"It's hard also being away from my family," Sam said. "My sister, nandito sa Pilipinas, kasama yung mga pamangkin ko, but we're not together and I miss them, lalo na yung parents ko sa States. They're in Ohio and sana I had more time with them."

"My dad, he's turning 86 this year so he's getting up there and he has dementia. I have a lot of worries about him and his health, of course, with this pandemic, also. I plan on after this is all over and after the show na uuwi ako sa Ohio to spend time with them."
