Kim Chiu Reveals Xian Lim Courted Her For Over A Year

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim just revealed more details about their relationship.

Previously, the celeb couple answered netizens' Qs in one of Kim's vlogs, like why they don't say "I love you" a lot. Recently, they did part two of their Q&A on Xian's YouTube channel.

While Kim and Xian answered Qs on how they prefer to keep in touch and how long was their longest tampuhan, what really made us kilig was when they shared how they actually became a couple. This is super important since they've been pretty much low-key so far throughout their nine-year strong relationship.

Xian reveals they first felt a "spark" while filming My Binondo Girl. Xian was one of Kim's leading men in the 2011 teleserye.

Xian: "I guess may nakita silang spark. Yes… Hindi nila alam, totoong spark na. Spark na sa totoong buhay. Ikaw talaga. Mga tingin-tingin mo kasi sa 'kin."

Kim: "Doon na nag-start and 'yon, the rest is history."

Gaano katagal nanligaw si Xian sa 'yo?

Kim: "One and a half. Basta nag-one year din kaming ano.. Kasi siyempre, para sure. Ayoko namang makipaglaro sa feelings ko, 'di ba?"

Xian: "Tip lang, guys. Yes, tips. Ang relationship is like building a house. Dapat strong yung foundation. Kung 'di strong ang foundation ninyo, laro-laro lang naman 'yan sa umpisa, mabilis din 'yang mabubuwag. To make sure the foundation is great before you jump into anything."

Kim: "Yes. Oo, dapat matagal."

Xian: "The foundation should be strong. Kung biglaan niyo lang sinagot yung tao, kaunting yanig lang, wala na."

Saan mo sinagot si Xian? 

Since it's been close to a decade already, Kim and Xian's struggled to remember where exactly they were when she agreed to become his girlfriend. 

Kim: "Saan ba?"

Xian: "In the car? Noong nag-long drive tayo? It's either in the car or in your house."

Kim: "Oo nga 'no, nakalimutan na natin."

Xian: "I remember I… Kasi 'di ba tinanong talaga kita. Very traditional tayo. Tinanong talaga kita. 'Kim, will you be my girlfriend?' Either sa car or doon sa may pool area.

Kim: "Hindi, hindi sa may pool. Sa kotse. Is it?"

Xian: "Yeah."

Kim: "I think so."

Do you still say 'Good morning' and do you still say 'Good night'?

Xian: "Yes!"

Kim: "Of course! Yes."

Xian: "Of course. Super. Super important. Why wouldn't you say 'Good morning' and 'Good night?'"

Kim: "Yeah. Siya yung lagi kong tine-text first thing in the morning and bago ako matulog, siya din. Tawag, actually. Ay, 'pag morning, text muna kasi baka tulog pa siya. Pero 'pag gabi, video call talaga."

Xian: "Yeah. And five kisses. Why? Why five kisses?"

Xian: "'Yun yong ano namin. Five kisses because 'I love you very much.'"
