It's no doubt that over the past few years, there's been a rise in digital content creators and influencers. Chances are when you scroll through your timelines, you'll come across a personality with valuable and entertaining content that'll catch your attention. Before you know it, you're following them on Insta, subscribing to their YouTube channel, watching their TikTok videos, and more. 

The digital space is absolutely *packed* with creative individuals, and it's a great feeling to know that several of them come from our very own country. In fact, these talented people are not just from Metro Manila alone, but also from the Visayas and Mindanao regions, respectively. And thanks to BaiCon InFest, a digital event that was held from October 30 to 31, 2021, we were able to put together a short list of the VisMin content creators who are making waves online. Keep reading to get to know them a lil more.

Nana Silayro

As a comedian and advocate of self-love, 23-year-old Nana Silayro from Iloilo City is a rising star you absolutely *need* to follow for all things good vibes. In 2019, she started vlogging and even referred to it as her "first love." During her segment in BaiCon Infest, she shared, "Being funny is who I am." As a full-time teacher (early childhood educator) and full-time content creator, she aims to use her platform not only to entertain, but also to teach even the simplest of things.

Gandang Morenx

Hailing from General Santos City is Mindanao content creator Gandang Morenx, who is also known as Johanna Ariexia Sabado Quilinderino. Quick trivia: Before she became the influencer she is now, Gandang Morenx was actually a flight attendant first! She shared that she got retrenched from her job but eventually found her way into content creation, and the rest is history. She focuses on inspirational content that tackles life, love, and everything in between. In an interview during BaiCon Infest, she admitted, "The goal really of my content is actually to help other people—to surpass yung mga pinagdadaanan nila.

At 24 years old, Joseph Sabello from Cebu City has a clear goal in mind: to give a positive impact to millennials. When asked about how his content creator journey began, he revealed that he started vlogging around 2016 as an Architecture student just so that future generations could see what he's been up to. Eventually, this progressed to vlogs about life events and now, he produces entertaining videos that'll surely make you LOL! His number one advice to aspiring content creators? "Don't focus on the numbers. Just do your own thing."

Ever since college, Chinky Tita has been a fan of makeup tutorials. The Cebu native recalls that back then, she would film with just her iPad! Later on, her channel boomed when she started vlogging in 2016. It's been five years since then, and she has now successfully grown from being a beauty vlogger into a mommy vlogger with videos about everyday life.
