Cristy Fermin Praises AJ Raval's Parents Jeric Raval And Alyssa Alvarez

Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin recently lauded AJ Raval's parents, actor Jeric Raval and Alyssa Alvarez, in an episode of Cristy Ferminute aired on October 21.

Cristy's statement was made following AJ's public apology posted on TikTok for sharing Aljur Abrenica's now-deleted statement on "who cheated first" posted on social media on October 20. 

Cristy said, "Hanga ako sa batang ito. Hangang-hanga ako sa kanya. Bukod sa maganda na siya, maganda yung pagpapalaki sa kanya ni Jeric at saka ni Alyssa. Para sa isang tao ay mapagkumbaba, nadikit na halos ang mukha sa lupa, paghingi ng paumanhin hindi lang kay Kylie [Padilla], kundi sa publiko at sa lahat ng mga nasaktan sa pagpo-post niya."

After airing a clip of AJ's apology, Cristy added, "Ang ganda-ganda ng kanyang paliwanag. Bakal man ang puso mo, pagka ganito ang paliwanag ng isang bata pa, bagets pa 'to e, talagang lalambot ang puso mo."

Cristy added that AJ's humbleness on the issue is a sign of how her parents raised her. "Yung pagpapakumbaba ni AJ, ano 'to e, senyal ito ng magandang pagpapalaki ng magulang 'di ba? Hindi po ang dali-daling humarap sa mikropono, humarap sa camera at magsabi na, 'Patawarin niyo na po ako, nadala lang po ako ng emosyon ko.'"

AJ Raval got dragged into the controversial split of Kylie and Aljur early this month when she confirmed in an interview that Aljur is courting her. The two were then spotted holding hands while walking in a mall. AJ denied being the third party in a Facebook post writing, "Just to be clear, hindi ako ang naging third party. Okay guys? Mabuti akong tao at hindi ko kayang gumawa ng masama, kung maka bash naman kayo parang nakapatay ako ng tao." 

Following Aljur's controversial post on Facebook, Alyssa thanked Aljur on social media for speaking up on the issue. AJ then apologized to Kylie and the public after she shared—and then deleted—Aljur's Facebook post.
