Aljur Abrenica Admits His Controversial Facebook Post About Kylie Padilla Was Made 'Out Of Impulse'

Aljur Abrenica has spoken up about his now-deleted controversial Facebook post and admitted that he did it "out of impulse."

During the press conference of the movie Manipula on October 23, Aljur revealed that it wasn't his intention to post a scathing remark on his estranged wife, Kylie Padilla. In the post, Aljur said, "Don't hide and disguise your comments [and] statements for your self-gain. Tell them who cheated first. Tell them who wrecked our family. Tell them why I gave up on you, not our family."

Looking back on the issue, Aljur said, "I'm not proud sa nangyari. The reason na nagawa ko 'yon out of impulse, kasi I felt like nasadsad na ako e. Lugmok na ko. Nabugbog na ko. So it was not my intention na maglabas ng ganoong post."

"Pero nararamadaman ko talaga na kailangan magsalita na ko," Aljur continued. "Pero sa akin, I think nasabi ko na ang lahat ng gusto kong sabihin. Baka kasi hindi ko na gusto pang i-elaborate dahil pamilya ko parin sila."

Aljur continued, "Nagpapasalamat ako sa inyo dahil alam ko naman kung bakit kayo nagtatanong at ganoon kaapektado yung mga tao dahil sinubaybayan niyo ang pagsasama namin ni Kylie."

During the press conference, Aljur admitted that Kylie "was the love of my life." He said, "Talagang inaamin ko pa. I value our family more than anything. So I was really affected nung mangyari 'yon. And in respect, 'di ba? Pamilya ko parin sila."

Aljur also admitted that he made a mistake and wishes for the issue to die down for the sake of their, Alas and Axel. 

He added, "She's still the mother of my children and may pinagsamahan pa rin kami, I will never forget that."

Aljur ended his statement by saying, "Napakinggan niyo yung sinabi ko sa post na 'yon at lahat lumabas na so hanggang doon nalang. Sana, hinihingi ko po sa inyo, para sa mga bata, para sa pinagsamahan namin ni Kylie, nagpapasalamat kami sa inyo. Utang na loob namin sa inyo. Hanggang doon nalang."

Meanwhile, Kylie is set to address the accusations that have been hurled against her in the wake of her split with Aljur in the upcoming episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on October 24.
