Assunta De Rossi is celebrating her miracle baby's first year of life.
On Saturday, the 38-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of Giulia Fiorentina Alessandra, her daughter with her husband, former congressman Jules Ledesma.
"Every day, we thank the Lord for you. Happy birthday, little miracle!" wrote Assunta in her post, which featured Fiore all dressed up and beaming in a dress. Beside Fiore on the sofa was a sign which read, "I am 1 year old."

After trying to conceive for 19 years, Assunta announced she was pregnant in May 2020.
Assunta suffers from both myoma and endometriosis, which involve noncancerous growths in the wall of the uterus and uterine lining growing outside of the uterus.
In an interview with Toni Gonzaga on her online show, I Feel U, Assunta talked about her journey to becoming a mother. She shared that she and Jules sought fertility treatments in 2016 and decided to go for in vitro fertilization or IVF.
When their first attempts didn't work, Assunta's sister, actress-director Alessandra De Rossi, even offered to be the surrogate of the baby. Assunta and Jules decided to undergo another round of IVF.
On Assunta's 37th birthday in February 2020, she and Jules went on a vacation in Amanpulo. After realizing her period had been delayed for a week, she got a check-up and found out she was pregnant.
"Talagang nagulat kaming mag-asawa," said Assunta in the interview. "Inannounce ko sa family ko, pati sila nagulat din naman. It was a pleasant surprise. It was unplanned but not naman unwanted kasi it's been a long time din talaga. Ano bang nagawa ko at nangyari ito? But I am so thankful."
Baby Fiore was born on October 23, 2020. Her name is a tribute to special members of Assunta and Jules' families.
