After Confirming Her Pregnancy, Jennylyn Mercado Thanks GMA For Letting Her Finish 'Love, Die, Repeat' In 2022

Jennylyn Mercado is super grateful to her GMA family.

On Sunday, the actress thanked the Kapuso network for allowing her to resume the taping for her soap Love, Die, Repeat in 2022 once she is physically ready again.

"Maraming salamat sa aking GMA family for understanding my condition and allowing me to still finish Love, Die, Repeat next year once I am ready to work again," she wrote in a Facebook post, where she featured a throwback photo of herself when she was just starting in showbiz.

"Sobrang thankful ako at tuloy pa rin ang show. I love my GMA family; from the moment I started as an actress na-feel ko na hindi lang ako artista sa network, kundi parte ng pamilya nila. Madami akong pinagdaanan at kung wala ang GMA, hindi ko alam kung malalagpasan ko ito."

"I am blessed to be a Kapuso."

Jennylyn's post comes after she and her fellow Kapuso Dennis Trillo announced their engagement and news of her pregnancy. In an interview on 24 Oras with entertainment news correspondent Nelson Canlas, Jennylyn confirmed that she is nine weeks pregnant.

In Love, Die, Repeat, Jennylyn stars alongside Xian Lim, Mike Tan, Valerie Concepcion, and Myrtle Sarrosa, among others. In September, the show had to put its lock-in taping on hold after Jennylyn suffered a medical emergency. Love, Die, Repeat, a 10-week miniseries, was originally set to be aired in early 2022.
