Aljur Abrenica recently opened up about how he's feeling amid the drama surrounding his separation from his wife, Kylie Padilla.

In an interview with entertainment news anchor and columnist Jobert Sucaldito, Aljur shared his reaction to Kylie's interview last week which aired on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.

In the interview, Kylie addressed Aljur's now-deleted "Tell them who cheated first" Facebook post. In a press conference for his movie Manipula, Aljur admitted he posted it "out of impulse" and that it wasn't his intention to share scathing remarks against his estranged wife.

"After kong mapanood…

Jobert referred to the part in the KMJS interview wherein Kylie shared one of her most beautiful memories with Aljur, when he took care of her while she was pregnant with their first child, Alas

Aljur revealed that he also treasures that memory with Kylie and how he even stopped working during the duration of her pregnancy so he could be there to support her. He also shared how he would cook noodles a lot for Kylie at that time since she would be craving them.

He also confirmed that despite their issues, he and Kylie have remained in constant communication as they co-parent their kids, Alas and Axl.

Aljur appealed to netizens to "move on," to focus on their good memories instead, and to refrain from "judging others" as this is already affecting him and his family.

"Sana makapag-move on na tayo kasi 'yon ang pinakamakakabuti. Instead of judging others, let's just remember the good things and see to it na yung pagmamahal mo and appreciation mo sa tao.

Jobert proceeded to talk about how a person typically goes through stages of grief when experiencing loss before being able to move on. Aljur confirmed that he is already past the acceptance and forgiveness stages.

Jobert said, "Before you can be able to move on, siyempre may mga acceptance first, forgiveness, then moving on. Gano'n daw 'yon, e. Stages daw 'yan, e. You cannot move on that easily if you don't accept that fact, kung anong mga nangyayari."

Aljur: "Yes, acceptance, yes."

Jobert: "Forgiveness?"

Aljur: "Forgiveness…"

Jobert: "[In] the process? Tapos na rin?"

Aljur: "Tapos na. Ang pinakaano doon is kung paano patatawarin yung sarili mo, e."

Jobert: "Yung ikaw mismo."

Aljur: "Oo. Pinatawad ko na ba yung sarili ko? Yes."

Despite everything that's happened, Aljur still believes he and Kylie can still become friends.

Magkaibigan talaga kami. I think sa 10 years, I know she knows this. We're best friends. Kasi isa't-isa yung takbuhan namin."

"Iba lang sitwasyon ngayon. Pero ako, I'm open kasi 'di mo puwedeng kalimutan yung sampung taon niyong pagkakaibigan."

Aljur also said he is willing to reach out to Kylie when the time comes that he is ready. He admitted that he committed mistakes and said he believes that God has a greater plan for them.

"Ako, naniniwala ako doon sa malaking dahilan. If you're going to look at it, hindi naman kami perpekto. I know, ako, nagkamali ako."
