Jess Wilson And Moritz Gastl's *Wedding Vows* Are Making Our Hearts Burst

On June 26, longtime couple Jess Wilson and Moritz Gastl tied the knot in an idyllic and intimate wedding at the Sunlight Island Resort in Coron, Palawan. Although we got to see snaps from their wedding via social media updates from family and friends, now, we have a clearer and more heartwarming picture of what exactly happened. Yesterday, July 14, the couple's wedding film from Jason Magbanua premiered on YouTube and it showed snippets of the wedding weekend—from Nico Bolzico's hilarious reception speech to Jess' family's emotional readings during the ceremony to, our favorite part, their heart-tugging wedding vows.

Moritz: "Who knew that going to the worst student bar in town on a rainy Tuesday evening to celebrate your friend's birthday can actually lead to us standing here on an island in the Philippines 10 years later getting married?"

Jess: "With you, I know I can dream. You moved to the Philippines so we could build a life together and I can't say how grateful I am that I have you in my life, how happy I feel to wake up to you every day. Because of you, I know I can dream."

Moritz: "Whatever the next chapter may be, I couldn't be happier and excited to know that I'll be spending it with you. Jess, you are making me a much better person. At the end of a rough day, you were the person I could always count on. You were the person I could share everything with. You were the most loving and generous person that cares more about herself than about others—that cares more about—the other way around! *laughs* English is my second language! I built that in!"

Jess: "As two strangers from opposite ends of the world that somehow came together, and nine years later, here today, exchanging promises to last a lifetime. I promise to give you the same happiness you give me every day. I promise to continue all the little things we did when we first started dating."

Moritz: "After 10 years that included a wedding proposal in Papua New Guinea and one pandemic, we're now finally getting married. You and I, and probably everyone else knows here, how indecisive I can be at times. But if there's one decision in my life that I always knew was the right one, it is to spend the rest of my life with you because I love you with all my heart. But more than anything, I promise to love you every day of our lives, to love you for who you are and who you are yet to become."

Jess: "Thank you for showing me what unconditional, selfless, patient love is; always discovering something new to love or to hate but choosing to love it anyway. You're my best friend, my partner, and from today, I will be able to call you my husband. Thank you for loving me the way that you do and I love you."
