Janella Salvador Is Pushing Through With Her Complaint Against Baby Jude's Bashers

Janella Salvador has not forgotten about the netizens who left horrible comments about Baby Jude, her son with Markus Paterson.

In April 2021, Markus and Janella exposed on social media certain users who were laughing at Jude. Some of them actually even ~wished~ he would get COVID! Ugh, why?! So not right on so many levels.

"Let's be honest," Markus shared on IG. "I'm no stranger to bashing. But come for my son and I will come for you. People like this make me sick. Wala pang isang taon anak ko and y'all making fun of a NEWBORN."

Janella, meanwhile, expressed her anger on Twitter.

"Your humor must be really fucked up to make fun of a baby. I can take all the bashing in the world directed at me with grace, but direct it at my innocent son and you’ll definitely hear from me."

In an interview with Dr. Vicki Belo uploaded on July 8, Janella confirmed that she and Markus will not tolerate the bashing that Jude received online. While criticism is something that Janella is accustomed to as a celebrity, she said that it's a different matter altogether when her son gets targeted. 

"I didn't know what to feel when I first saw the comments about Jude. I was trying to think, 'Are they just joking, or what?' Kasi who would pick on a baby? What kind of humor is that? You know, to each his own, but at the same time, I realized it's not okay. It's a form of bullying talaga so I had to stand up for Jude. I'm going to do anything for my son so I stood up for him."

"They think kasi wala lang e, pero as a mom, even if I'm in this industry, I'm used to bashing directed towards me. [But] when it's toward Jude, It's not okay."

Janella went on to confirm that she and Markus have firmly decided to seek legal action against Jude's bashers.

"We were going to push through with the complaint. I'm still planning to. I'm just praying about it right now because [we have] so many things to make asikaso. We'll see."

When interviewed in July on the morning show Magandang Buhay, Janella shared a sweet message for her son:

"I just want you to know that I will always be proud to be your mama. No matter what the world says, no matter what people say, 'wag kang makinig sa kanila. You made my life even better. You completed my life. Walang nawala sa akin. I gained you."

Janella gave birth to Jude in the UK on October 20, 2020. She and Markus spent five months there taking care of Jude before flying home to the Philippines in February.
