I'm 100 Percent Sure You'll Love These Locally Made Upcycled Sandals
The awareness to go for sustainable fashion is constantly growing. More Pinays are into thrifting, upcycling, and basically just consuming less. Local brands are following suit, and one of them is Sewn Sandals.
The local footwear brand released their first upcycled style, the Arina Mojo Sandals. Each pair is made from repurposed flour sacks and handwoven Manila hemp (abaca). The rustic aesthetic will make it easy to match with the items in your closet. (I'm thinking of pairing these sandals with a denim skirt or mom jeans.)
The Arina Mojo is available in sizes 6 to 10 and it comes with an upcycled shoebag. Due to the upcycled nature of the sandals, the design may vary due to the original print and use of the flour sack. Sewn Sandals assured that both left and right sandals will be similar and come in the basic colors of white, blue, and red. DM them on Facebook or Instagram for size availability before ordering.
