Belle Mariano, 19, is one of ABS-CBN's rising stars, but did you know she's been acting since she was nine years old? Yup, the actress (and recording artist!) has been honing her craft in front of the camera for 10 years now and is finally getting the buzz she deserves. Belle has consistently landed supporting roles in a slew of shows and movies, but this year, she was launched into leading lady status and starred in the hit web series He's Into Her.

Everything seems to be going perfectly for Gab dela Cuesta (Kathryn Bernardo): She's got an amazing career, a family that loves her, and a boyfriend who just proposed to her! Major plot twist, though: Apparently, Gab's already married and got hitched to a stranger named Dos Gonzales (Daniel Padilla) one drunken night out. In the film, Belle plays the role of Grace dela Cuesta!

3. La Luna Sangre (2017)

If you're a fan of vampires and werewolves, then La Luna Sangre is right up your alley! The supernatural series stars KathNiel again, with Belle playing the role of Jan-Jan. La Luna Sangre is the third installment of the Moonstone Trilogy, following Lobo (2008) and Imortal (2010).

4. Love You To The Stars And Back (2017)

Belle plays the supporting role of Ronnabel in the heart-tugging romantic film Love You To The Stars And Back. Julia Barretto stars as Mika, a young woman who's convinced that her deceased mother was taken by aliens. She sets out to search for her and, in the process, comes across Caloy (Joshua Garcia), a young man with pains of his own. Together, they go on an adventure of their lives.

5. James & Pat & Dave (2020)

After the hit rom-com Vince & Kath & James (2016), came in its sequel James & Pat & Dave and followed the story of James (Ronnie Alonte) and his second chance at love. Making up the lead cast are Loisa Andalio as Pat and Donny Pangilinan as Dave. Fun fact: It's in this film where Belle was first paired with her current leading man Donny!

6. Four Sisters Before The Wedding (2020)

Everyone knows the cult classic Four Sisters And A Wedding (2013), right? Well, seven years after its release came in its prequel, Four Sisters Before The Wedding, and told the story of the Salazar siblings when they were in their teens! Belle plays honor student Gabbie Salazar, who's about to graduate from her senior year in high school. Speaking of her character, which was first portrayed by Shaina Magdayao in the original film, Belle shared in an interview that "it wasn't really hard to get into character kasi naramdaman ko talaga yung pamilya Salazar, on and off cam. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung warmth ng family."

7. He's Into Her (2021)

He's Into Her is an adaptation of the best-selling Wattpad novel of the same name and Belle leads the cast as Max, a spunky and fun-loving girl from Mindoro who gets the chance to move to Manila and attend an elite international school. Her leading man, Donny Pangilinan, plays Deib, Benison High's star basketball player and biggest bully. But when he meets Max, things ~change~ for him—and hopefully, for the better.
Fun fact: When the two first met, Belle was totally intimidated by Donny! "Nung una natatakot ako lumapit sa kaniya kasi feeling ko hindi ko siya makausap," she said in an interview. But he eventually proved her wrong: "Pero sobrang opposite. Sobrang approachable niya and he's so nice. And during the shoot, like what he said to me, it takes time for him to open up din. Hindi pa kami masyado nag-uusap noon. Pero nung nagkaroon na ng lock-in [taping] tapos nung nag third lock-in dun na talaga, sobrang easy to work not just with him but with the whole cast."
