At 39 Years Old, Jodi Sta. Maria Graduates From College: 'It's never too late'

Jodi Sta. Maria started her showbiz career in 1998, auditioning for Star Magic when she was just 15 years old. Now 39, the actress has *finally* fulfilled her longstanding dream — graduating from college.

"I dreamt of finishing my schooling ever since I entered show business and today, after more than a decade, marks the fulfillment of that dream. After four long years, I am here graduating from college," she shared the good news on Instagram Wednesday, June 23.

Jodi graduated from Southville International School and Colleges with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. 

The veteran actress also talked about how she stayed motivated to finish her studies.

"In school, whenever I faced a seemingly insurmountable task, I’d always push myself and say "it can be done".

Aside from her graduation photos, Jodi also shared her certificates, one of which states she received a dean's merit from being a consistent honor student.

"I knew that God was with me all through out my college life and I kept holding on to his promise that I can do all things through Him who gave me strength and supplied me with more than I needed according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus," she added.

Lastly, she thanked her family, friends, and supporters, and ended her lengthy caption with an inspiring message to fans: "Remember, it is never too late, and you are never too old to reach your stars."

Jodi is set to headline The Broken Marriage Vow, the Philippine adaptation of the hit BBC series Doctor Foster. She stars alongside Zanjoe Marudo, Sue Ramirez, and Zaijian Jaranilla.
