There's no doubt that *all* of us absolutely loved Kim Sung Cheol as Hwang Min Seong in Vincenzo, simply because he's such an entertaining actor! Although it was a short cameo, his character was remarkable—when he was smitten by corn salad, we sensed his kilig. When he was missing him in prison, we felt his pain. In short, ang galing lang talaga niya!

1. Prison Playbook (2017)

The plot: Kim Jae Hyuk (Park Hae Soo) is already at the height of his career and he's all set to make his major league debut in the U.S. That is until he was convicted of assault after saving his sister from a sexual predator. Instead of flying abroad, Jae Hyuk finds himself behind the bars with a bunch of inmates who are more than meets the eye. One of them is Jailbird or Beobja, played by Kim Sung Cheol. He is Jae Hyuk's trusted ally who doesn't ask for anything in return, and their genuine friendship will surely warm your heart.

2. To. Jenny (2018)

The plot: Kim Sung Cheol brings his musical acting chops (Fun fact: he debuted as a musical actor!) as Park Jung Min in To. Jenny, a story about a young man who shows his love for a girl by writing songs. This is actually his first lead role in a K-drama—and yes, he did that right after making his drama debut! Kim Sung Cheol is paired with K-pop idol Jung Chaeyeon, a member of the girl group DIA, who portrayed the character of the girl he likes.

3. The Wind Blows (2019)

The plot: The moment he learned that he has Alzheimer's Disease, Kwon Do Hoon (Kam Woo Sung) decides to file for divorce. His wife, Lee Soo Jin (Kim Ha Neul), was left in pain but just as fate would have it, the two met again after six years. Soo Jin then learns the truth about their separation. Although it hurt her, she's now determined to stay with him. In The Wind Blows, Kim Sung Cheol was cast as Bryan Jung, a young CEO of a special effects company.

The plot: This epic Netflix original series brings us to Arth, the mythical land called Arth where its inhabitants compete for power. Headlined by Song Joong Ki as Eun Seom, he plans to restore his tribe despite the many challenges he faces. Arthdal Chronicles is Kim Sung Cheol's first project with Joong Ki where he appeared as Ipsaeng, a key character in the drama.

5. Hospital Playlist (2020)
Where you can watch it: Netflix
The plot: Five friends (Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, Jeon Mi Do) who went through medical school together become workmates and life-long buddies in Hospital Playlist. Despite their hectic schedules, they still manage to catch up during lunch break or after work (where they hold their band sessions!), or whenever one needs emotional support. In this series, Kim Sung Cheol was featured in episode two as a hospital patient named No Jin Hyung.

6. Do You Like Brahms? (2020)

The plot: Classical music takes the spotlight in Do You Like Brahms, starring Kim Min Jae as pianist Park Joon Young, Park Eun Bin as violinist Chae Song Ah, and Kim Sung Cheol as cellist Han Hyun Ho, and they're all students in a prestigious university. This story is actually inspired by the real-life love triangle of musicians Johannes Brahms, Clara Schumann, and Robert Schumann.

The plot: Looking for a thrilling watch filled with creatures that are out of this world? Then Netflix's Sweet Home is just right for you! Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, this K-drama revolves around people who become monsters, get killed by monsters, and their quest for survival. There's nothing sweet in this story, you guys! Here, Kim Sung Cheol is Jung Woo Myung, a beast who doesn't care about humanity at all.

8. Vincenzo (2021)

The plot: Vincenzo Cassano is an Italian mafia consigliere who went back to South Korea to claim his hidden gold, found in the basement of a building. In his attempt to take out the treasure, he meets a handful of people who slowly changes his goals. Kim Sung Cheol makes a *very* special appearance as Hwang Min Seong, the Shinkwang Bank President who is so whipped for Vincenzo that he would wait for corn salad outside a building all day, despite the pouring rain! #Dedication
P.S: Did you know that Kim Sung Cheol's cameo in the final episode (where he was seen looking at corn salad's photo while crying) is actually not part of the original script? The production team thought that it would be funny to include him, and so Joong Ki asked Sung Cheol for a favor to come back for that scene!
