Jake Ejercito Says He Met Philmar Alipayo And Baby Koa For The First Time In Siargao

Jake Ejercito says he has already met Philmar Alipayo and Baby Koa. 

The actor recently revealed the news during an interview with Cinema News At Home Edition.

"Si Lilo na-meet ko na dito sa Manila, and then the youngest, si Koa, I met there in Siargao and also si Philmar," he said. "It was also first time na I met him when I was there."

Jake was on the island in March and got to spend quality bonding time with Ellie, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann. In the interview, he clarified that he was not in Siargao for a vacation and that he was there "on Daddy duty."

He said Andi—who had been busy taking care of Baby Koa—asked if he could pick Ellie up in Siargao. While he was there, Ellie took him around and acted as his personal tour guide. Aww.

According to Jake, he feels Ellie has become happier with his relationship with Andi. In a Facebook upload in March, Jake said he could not have "done it alone" without Andi's great co-parenting.

"I really don't ask Ellie about it, parang nao-observe ko lang sa kanya kasi siyempre Andi and I, yung relationship naman namin when it comes to co-parenting, hindi naman naging smooth lagi and hindi naman siya naging smooth ever since," Jake said.

"What's good about now is parang kasi ang priority namin is what's good for Ellie. 'Yon ang motivation namin, si Ellie," he continued. "Nakikita ko sa kanya na hindi na siya nahihirapan, smooth lahat, okay ang communication."

ICYDK, Ellie turns 10 years old this 2021. Her mom and Philmar got engaged in December 2020.
