Song Joong Ki Has Been Acting In Front Of A *Green Screen* This Whole Time And We Are IMPRESSED

*Everyone* is currently talking about Vincenzo and if you haven't watched it yet—girl, you should! I wasn't a fan of the show's lead actor Song Joong Ki, but after I watched his dark comedy series, my Instagram feed is now full of Joong Ki content, LOL. Recently, I discovered that the OG K-drama actor has been impressing viewers with his acting skills and it's not just because he brings life to his characters: It turns out, he has been performing in front of a green screen for some of his most challenging roles to date!

In his latest project, Vincenzo, Joong Ki transforms into a mafia consigliere. Some of his scenes in Episode 1 feature him in Italy and, believe it or not, the actor didn't even have to fly abroad to film. That's because all the spectacular Italian scenery you've seen is the result of next-level computer graphics! I was completely stunned when Netflix released a behind-the-scenes video of this and I'm still not over it even after two weeks. I mean, those Italy scenes were so detailed it had me saying daebak (amazing!) 123456789 times!

Another Joong Ki project this year is also under Netflix and it's the sci-fi Korean movie Space Sweepers. Since the film is set in space, you bet that a green screen will be involved here. But have you seen Joong Ki maneuvering those huge space ~*things*~ as if he's in the galaxy? And floating on air like it's his hobby? Not yet? Here you go:

2019 took us back to ancient times with two ~*extraordinary*~ versions of Joong Ki—as Eun Som and Saya—in the Netflix Original series, Arthdal Chronicles. Although some of the scenes were filmed in different places like Brunei and Osan City in Gyeonggi, South Korea, a number of Arthdal Chronicles frames that required nature as its background also used green screens! Ang galing!

Vincenzo, Space Sweepers, and Arthdal Chronicles required a great amount of imagination and Joong Ki consistently wows us with his superb performances. With or without a green screen, he is one actor that will nail ANY role—may it be as an Italian lawyer or a half-human-half beast. Everyone, please join me in *manifesting* Song Joong Ki's Best Actor award this year.
