Barbie Imperial, Bela Padilla palaban sa bardagulan, ‘action star era’

MAS paiigtingin ng ABS-CBN ang primetime viewing sa pasabog na action-drama series na “Blood vs Duty” starring Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, Barbie Imperial and Gerald Anderson.

Dagdag pa sa excitement si Baron Geisler na makakasama rin sa inaabangang programa, ayon sa project announcement na ginanap nitong Lunes (January 19).

Last year, bumida si Baron sa “Incognito” series kasama si Richard, habang napanood naman si Barbie sa ikalawang season ng “Sins of the Father” kasama si Gerald. 

Nakasama rin sina Baron at Barbie sa “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” bilang sina Rocky Boy at Tisay.

Pangungunahan ng JRB Creative Production unit ng ABS-CBN, na nasa likod ng mga programang “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin,” “Mars Ravelo’s Darna,” “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin,” at “Sins of the Father,” ang paggawa ng series kasama ang batikang direktor na si FM Reyes.

“We’re all ready to get to work nadagdagan pa ng cast. What a blessing that we get to do this,” ani Gerald sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.

“Totally different storyline, play different characters, you will find out soon how different this will be from ‘Incognito,’” sey ni Richard.

“In fairness kay Chard, he really wants this to be completely different from what he did in the past, especially sa looks ako ganun din,” sabi naman ni Gerald.

Chika ni Bela, “I personally have been looking at my own pegs and researching what an intel officer should look like but also how far I can take her on the screen.”

Bukod sa acting workshop, matindi rin ang physical preparation nina Bela at Barbie para sa serye.

“So I did combat training and gun handling. On the side, I did my own training para lang I have an idea where I am at physically. Iba yung action dito, this is gonna be very different,” ani Bela.

“For us naninibago kami dito, we want for us at least be on the same level as the boys when we start filming, especially me I’m so competitive hindi ako papatalo, kailangan game on!” dagdag ng aktres.

Para naman kay Barbie, “It was my first time to do Muay Thai sobrang heavy pala nu’n, kinaumagahan paggising ko nilagnat ako.”
