Joshua Garcia Reacts To Ivana Alawi *Crushing* On Him: 'Sobrang thankful ako'

ICYDK, Ivana Alawai has the biggest crush on Joshua Garcia. The ~revelation~ was publicized when her little sister, Mona Louise Rey, surprised her with a video greeting from Joshua to celebrate Ivana's second anniv as a YouTube. While watching the vid, Ivana said "I love you" to Joshua and even called him her "oppa!"

Ivana further talked about her crush on him when she guested on Ogie Diaz's YouTube channel where she shared the qualities she likes most about him: "Cute yung mukha, tsaka mabait siya. Nakita ko parang family-oriented. Pero hindi ko masabi kasi hindi ko pa siya namee-meet personally."

While Ivana has yet to meet Joshua IRL, the two have indeed been DM-ing each other on Insta. But that's not all though' 'cause Joshua actually reacted to this news during a recent press con! According to PEP.ph, Joshua was asked about Ivana's crush on him and before speaking, he turned shy and actually covered his face. Cute naman!

"Ako, 'pag may humanga sa akin, nakakadagdag ng confidence 'yon sa lalaki, 'di ba," he started.

"'Di ko alam ang reaction ko. Siyempre thank you kasi naa-appreciate yung work ko na ginagawa. Base sa nakita ko at narinig ko, na-appreciate niya yata yung acting ko, thankful, sobrang thankful ako. As an actor, maraming salamat."

He then closed the subject by saying he's "open" to being friends with Ivana: "Yeah, I'm open na maging magkaibigan, okay lang sa akin." 

Here's to hoping that Ivana finally meets her Joshua "oppa" sooner than later!
