House Tour: We Absolutely Love Nina Dobrev's Spanish-Style Home
Nina Dobrev recently welcomed Architectural Digest inside her Spanish-style home, a space from the 1920s that she wanted to preserve. "Even though we were redoing certain things, I wanted to use materials that were organic and felt like they could've belonged to the home before while stil refreshing." Fun fact: She's been living here for five years!

Like many houses with Spanish influence, it used to be a shade of yellow (close to mustard) but the actress had always wanted to paint it white—something she had time to do because of the pandemic. "My boyfriend and I painted the whole exterior of the house ourselves and it took forever...But, it turned out beautiful so I'm happy I did it."
The Vampire Diaries star took the audience to her living room, where she talked about how she wanted her fireplace to be a statement. Because most of the house is already light and airy, Nina wanted the fireplace to be more moody and textured.

Because she wanted an open space (for hosting purposes) and of course, an island table, Nina had the wall by her kitchen knocked down. "I love having people over for dinner. I love cooking. I love sharing a glass of wine. I wanted to be able to cook while still participating in a conversation with my friends."

But her *favorite* part of her kitchen? The spice rack, lol!

Right next to the kitchen is a "nook", which is where she catches some rays and enjoys her breakfast.

Nina's bedroom matches her personality: It's light, fun, colorful, and inviting.

Speaking about her bathroom, she said, "Another historical moment in the house that I haven't really done much to 'cause I wanted to keep it...There's little cracks in the floor...but something about it, the charm of it...I just fell in love with it. I didn't even wanna redo it."

Nina also has a movie room, where she spent the majority of the pandemic.
