Alwyn Uytingco Remains Hopeful For A Second Chance With Jennica Garcia

Things seem to be looking up for Alwyn Uytingco, and this time, he's "ready to fight the good fight" to take back his family with actress Jennica Garcia.

The news comes after Jennica's interview on 24 Oras' "Chika Minute" where she revealed that she and Alwyn are working on patching things up. She said, "I am very thankful to Jesus because… he heard my prayers, he gave me what I was hoping for, for Alwyn to come back for us. He expressed his desire for family restoration."

Following Jennica's interview that was aired on October 14, Alwyn took to Facebook on October 17 that hinted at a possible reconciliation with his estranged wife.

Alwyn started his post by writing, "Habibi. When God gives you something you don't deserve, that's what He calls grace."

"I have to admit, I don't deserve my family. I don't deserve a second chance," the actor continued. "Please don't get me wrong, I will do everything for another chance in this life. And I will fight the good fight to retake my family."

Alwyn admitted that what he wants is impossible to achieve if he just relies on his strength alone and credited God's guidance to achieve what he desires. "Without God and His guidance, His grace… I am with no purpose," Alwyn added. "And without my wife's boundless patience and love... I will be lifeless."

Addressing Jenncia, Alwyn stated, "Thank you, mahal, for not quitting on me. Thank you for letting me continue this life we started together. Thank you for giving me a wonderful gift of 'second chance,' and one that I don't deserve at all."

In May, Jennica confirmed that she and Alwyn have split up after seven years of marriage. She stated, "From a family of four, we are now just a family of three. Sacrifices must really be made."

Despite their breakup, Alwyn remained steadfast in making sure that he gets his family back. In June, he posted on social media that he hoped to patch things up with Jennica, and he even declared his love for the actress: "Ang dami ko gusto sabihin. Pero hindi kayang ipaliwanag ng mga simpleng salita. Hindi ko 'to gustong pahabain pa. Ang gusto ko lang malaman mo, at wag na wag mong kakalimutan.. Mahal na mahal kita."
