Kris Bernal Shares The Meaning Behind Her *Dreamy* Sunflower-Themed Wedding Reception

Kris Bernal just shared the meaning behind her *amazing* sunflower-themed wedding reception.

The Kapuso actress took to her Instagram account to talk about why she loves sunflowers so much and what these mean to her.

"The sun is such an important part of my days and there is something about a sunray bursting through the clouds or filtering through the trees that is so calming and inspiring at the same time," Kris wrote. "I love traveling and one of the things that is the same in every part of the world is how sunrays make me feel."

"This is the reason why I love sunflowers because they appear to always face the sun. They radiate bliss and positive vibes to me."

Kris's IG post featured breathtaking photos of the sunflower-decorated wedding reception, with sunflowers brightening up long dinner tables and sunbeam-like lights piercing through the venue. Kris says those lights made everything "dreamy and magical."

The decor was envisioned and executed by event stylist, Gideon Hermosa. According to Kris, it was his first time to take on a sunflower-themed wedding.

Kris married Perry Choi on September 25, after the wedding date was moved several times. The wedding ceremony was live-streamed on Kris's YouTube channel.

Kris and Perry got engaged in February 2020. In one of her vlogs, Kris revealed that she and Perry were brought together through business. Perry works as a chef and businessman and he was the one who supplied the meat for Kris' burger joint.
