8 Park Eun Bin K-Dramas You Should Stream Right Now
Charming actress Park Eun Bin has steadily risen through the ranks and become one of our fave K-drama actresses. Her career is just gathering steam now, but you might actually remember her as a child actress, playing the young version of characters in many classic dramas from the early years of the Korean wave like My Love Pattzi, Stained Glass, and The Legend. Now, she’s in a league of her own with various roles and awards under her belt. Read on for some of our favorite Park Eun Bin K-dramas.

1. Operation Proposal (2012)

Eun Bin got her first try as a leading lady with Operation Proposal, the Korean adaptation of popular Japanese drama, Proposal Daisakusen. It tells the story of Baek Ho, a man in love with his best friend, Yi Seul (Eun Bin). Baek Ho never told Yi Seul that he was in love with her, and now he’s about to witness her getting married to someone else. Suddenly, a conductor shows up and gives Baek Ho a chance to go back in time and confess. Can Baek Ho make the most of this chance before it’s too late?

2. Hello, My Twenties! (2016)

This is one of our fave coming-of-age dramas ever. Both seasons focus on a group of girls living in a share house called Belle Epoque. The series follows their misadventures in friendship, love, and family (and sometimes, a tiny touch of horror creeps in too). There’s a whimsical yet realistic feel to the drama that makes it easily relatable. Eun Bin plays Ji Won, a fun-loving journalism student with unique quirks. She also believes she can see ghosts. Her character got so much love in the first season that she became a focal part of the story in season two.

3. Father, I'll Take Care Of You (2016)

This 50-episode family drama revolves around old couple Hyung Sub (Chang Hwan) and Jeong Ae (Hye Ok) who are ready to focus on living life for themselves now that their children have all left home. These plans soon fall down the drain as their children start returning to live with them, along with their families. Eun Bin plays Oh Dong Hee, an assistant writer living in the old couple’s rooftop apartment. She meets Seong Jun (Tae Hwan), the couple’s third son, while chasing after her brother in Taiwan. Their sweet love line is one of the highlights of the drama.

4. Judge Vs. Judge (2017)

Eun Bin goes for a legal drama for her next work where she stars as Lee Jung Joo, a passionate female judge who takes no prisoners. Her fiery temper makes her lash out against defendants in court. Her older brother got framed for crimes he didn’t commit and ended up dying, and her goal is to prove his innocence. The drama also explores the tenuous and eventually helpful relationship she has with fellow judge Sa Eui Hyeon (Woo Jin), a by-the-book man who wants to get out of the shadow of his rich family.

5. The Ghost Detective (2018)

If you find yourself missing The Penthouse’s Lee Ji Ah, try this crime horror drama. It tells the story of Lee Da Il (Daniel), a detective from a private agency who gets hit on the head by a kidnapper he’s chasing on a case. The last thing he sees before his eyes close is a woman in red (Ji Ah). When he comes to, he realizes that only his assistant detective, Yeo Wool (Eun Bin), can see him. Together, they hunt for the woman in red, believing that she’s connected to the crime. But the closer they get to the bottom of the case, the more deaths occur. Can they stop her before it’s too late?

6. Hot Stove League (2019)

This fun and heartwarming sports drama is guaranteed to steal your heart. In it, baseball team Dreams is down in the dumps after placing last in the league—for four consecutive seasons. Enter Baek Seung Soo (Min), their new general manager. He has never managed a baseball team, but he has a track record of leading teams in other sports to victory. Eun Bin plays Lee Se Young, the Dreams’ ops manager, who only wants what’s best for her team. While she thinks Seung Soo’s methods are unconventional at first, she soon realizes he cares more about the team than he shows.

7. Do You Like Brahms? (2020)

This drama tells the story of two sweet and shy souls who connect through classical music. Eun Bin plays Song Ah, an aspiring violinist. She’s not a genius by any means, but her love for the instrument spurs her forward despite the uncertainty of her future. She meets Park Joon Young (Min Jae), a gifted pianist who’s been playing nonstop to earn money and pay off his family’s debts. Because of this, he has lost his passion for music. Joon Young’s music makes Song Ah feel untalented at first, but friendship soon blossoms between them, and they start helping each other out. Eun Bin won a Top Excellence award for her acting here as well as a Best Couple Award with Min Jae.

8. The King's Affection (2021)

This new historical romance has already started airing on Netflix! Eun Bin stars with SF9’s Rowoon, who first charmed us as Haru in the drama Extraordinary You. The King’s Affection revolves around the royal twins, born of the Crown Princess Consort. As twins are usually taken as a bad omen, the princess is sent out of the palace to save her from death. When the prince dies a few years later, the princess (Eun Bin) starts living as Prince Lee Hwi. Things get complicated when she starts falling for Jung Ji Woon (Rowoon), her teacher.
