Bea Alonzo's YouTube channel is a pretty good example. Aside from videos featuring her fitness journey, her family, and their *gorgeous* farm house, she also has a couple cooking vlogs. ICYDK, in 2018, Bea actually went to culinary school! She completed the Fundamentals in Baking and Pastry Arts course from the Center of Culinary Arts (CCA) Manila. So if you need some inspo for your next kitchen experiment, watch her food vlogs below and try these recipes at home. ;)

Pinoy Spaghetti

This "Filipino staple" was a meal that Bea prepared during one Sunday family day. Her loved ones visited her from Zambales, and she thought it was the *perfect* dish to cook. Fun fact: The recipe is from her stepdad, Dondon Carlos

Ube Turon With Langka A La Mode

Since saging na saba and langka are readily available in their farm, Bea decided to share a recipe that puts a twist to the classic turon. It's a simple merienda but still very filling.

Sinaing Na Tilapia Sa Gata Na May Kamias

To maximize the produce at Beati Firma, Bea went back to basics and tried farm to table cooking. At the time, she mentioned that these dishes were very popular because they have fresher ingredients and less preservatives. And if you look closely, you'll see that it was actually cooked in a clay pot. So cool!

Shrimp Pasta In Creamy Tomato Sauce

Also known as Pink Pasta, this is a meal you can prepare for your future potlucks and small gatherings. The ingredients are very affordable, too. In this video, Bea revealed that contrary to how others usually sauté, she puts in the onions first and then the garlic. Apparently, it's because onions are sweeter and they take time to caramelize. (Ooooh.)
