Jasmine Curtis-Smith On Getting Vaccinated: 'This is the extra step that I believe I can take to protect myself'
Jasmine Curtis-Smith recently got vaccinated and the actress shared her thoughts on getting the jab.
In an Instagram post on July 30, Jasmine shared that prior to going into quarantine for their lock-in taping, she was able to get the COVID vaccine. "I have been so eager for this opportunity because I have asthma and also work in an industry that does require us to take off our masks and have face-to-face interactions. This is the extra step that I believe I can take to protect myself," Jasmine wrote.
The actress, who's set to star alongside Alden Richards in the upcoming GMA drama The World Between Us, said in her post that a lot of people have been saying that there's too much information online and that they don't know what to believe in anymore. She added, "Nothing beats consulting the medical experts themselves, especially those that know your own medical history."

Jasmine continued, "I understand those who may have their own anxieties about taking this step but I also understand the pain of losing someone and the struggles that come along with the burdens of dealing with COVID."
