Lea Salonga Is Lending Her Voice For A Netflix Animated Series
On June 17, 2021, Lea Salonga shared a trailer of a Netflix show on her Twitter and Facebook accounts. She then wrote, "Been sitting on this for more than a year!!! Can't wait to finally see this in its full glory! #Centaurworld #Netflix #ThisCastCanSing"

The show is titled Centaurworld, and it's about a hardened warhorse that gets transported to this strange, colorful land called Centaurworld, which is full of silly singing creatures. The warhorse must find her way back home—but not without embarking on a journey and battle of her own.
As of this writing, neither Lea nor Netflix have revealed Lea's role in the series. Apart from expressing their excitement, fans have also asked Lea which character she plays, since they couldn't hear her voice in the trailer.
Based on Netflix's YouTube video "The Centaurworld Cast Can SING!" Lea doesn't voice the main character or the friends she makes at Centaurworld. These are voiced by other Broadway stars, such as Kimiko Glenn, Megan Hilty, Jessie Mueller, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

So far, it looks like the choices for Lea's character are: someone from the real world, or the villain in Centaurworld.
The series will premiere on Netflix on July 30, 2021.
