Everything You Could Possibly Want To Know About 'Elite' Season 5
Season 4 of Elite literally just hit Netflix, and already I'm in need of more episodes because let's be honest, this show about students at a fancy prep school in Spain is way juicier than you'd expect. (Truly the perfect mix of Riverdale meets Gossip Girl, don't you think?) Needless to say, I'm knee-deep into Season 4's heart-gripping mystery. But now that new episodes are on Netflix, you might be wondering exactly when Season 5 is expected to make its debut.
Thankfully, we have the scoop on what you can expect for Elite Season 5, which, FWIW, is already confirmed. Onward!
First things first: Is Season 5 officially a go?
For those waiting on the edge of your seats, let me tell you one word: Yes! Elite is not only expected to make a grand return for its fifth season, but it was also renewed before Season 4 even aired. Back in February 2021, the cast took to the show's official social media accounts for the surprise announcement:

That's right—Season 5 is already in production! What does this even mean? Well, it'll probably be a while before we know juicy details, so it means it's a good time to rewatch the whole show rn.
AMAZING! Is there a Season 5 trailer out yet?
Good Q! Unfortunately, the show hasn't released any trailers for Season 5. Maybe that's because we need time to get to know Season 4 first? IDK, just a guess. Hopefully we'll get something soon!
Okay, cool. Now who from the Elite cast can we expect to return for Season 5?
We can't exactly confirm anything, because unfortunately we don't live in the Elite writers' room, but we do know something about the cast. For one thing? Two new actors are joining the show: Argentinian actress Valentina Zenere and Brazilian actor André Lamoglia. Obviously they're pretty hot, just like the rest of the Elite cast, so they'll fit right in:

As far as original Elite cast members, there might be some original cast from Season 4 back on our screens like Itzan Escamilla (Samuel), Miguel Bernardeau (Guzmán), Arón Piper (Ander), Omar Shana (Omar), and Claudia Salas (Rebeka), but nothing is 100 percent confirmed just yet:
If you remember Season 4 well, the aforementioned names were all retaking their final year at Las Encinas, so it's possible they could exit once graduation comes...just a thought.

Makes sense. But what do we know about Season 5's plot?
Um, I hate to tell you this, but not much. After all, Elite just loves to switch up characters on its fans every season, so honestly it's pretty hard to pin down what to expect. But here's what we do know: It will be a new school year with more thrills, romance, and maybe a squashed friendship or two on the horizon. Sounds intriguing!
