We can't believe it's been MORE THAN A YEAR since Son Ye Jin's last drama *crash-landed* into our lives. We've missed her so much! The long wait is over because her agency MSTeam Entertainment just announced her new project, a JTBC series called 39.
What's the plot of 39?
Soompi tells us: "39 is a 12-episode drama about the romance and everyday lives of three friends who are on the verge of turning 40." Pretty vague, right? Don't worry, we're sure more details will come to light very soon.
Who's starring in it?
Son Ye Jin
Looks like Ye Jin will be serving Yoon Se-ri vibes again! In 39, she will play Cha Mi Jo, a woman "who grew up in a wealthy environment and is now the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam."

Jeon Mi Do
The actress is in talks to play Cha Mi Jo's friend Jung Chan Young, "a 39-year-old acting teacher."
Where we last saw her: Hospital Playlist Season 2 (2021)
Yeon Woo Jin
The actor is considering the role of the yet-unnamed male lead! Is he the third 39-year-old ~friend~? We'll see!

Other celebs who are in talks to appear in the series are Ahn So Hee and Lee Moo Saeng.
When will we be able to watch 39?
