For K-dramas, the Baeksang Arts Awards has two categories: The Best Drama award and the Grand Prize, which can also be given to an actor, director, screenwriter, or variety show. How do they select the best of the best, you ask? According to The Korea Times, there's a "rigorous process" that happens before a winner is chosen. The nominees and nominated shows are presented to a diverse group of critics to allow a broader viewpoint.
