It's official. The series made the announcement on its Twitter account, ala a report from resident gossip columnist Lady Whistledown herself.

"Esteemed members of the Ton," the message read. "It seems we have a rather special announcement. Bridgerton shall return for seasons three and four. This author shall have to purchase more ink. Yours truly, Lady Whistledown." OMG!

Bridgerton's second season will zoom in on Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey), as he searches for a wife. We'll get to meet new characters like Anthony's leading lady, Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). Sadly, we won't be seeing the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) anymore in this season! Regé-Jean reportedly turned down $50k per episode to make an appearance.

Netflix initially stated that filming for season two would begin in March 2021, but after encountering delays caused by the pandemic, it will begin this April 2021 instead. We can't wait!
