In 2020, however, Hazel decided to stop her studies for a semester to focus on her growing YouTube channel and her new business venture. She also shared how her dreams in life have changed over the years. From being passionate about science, Hazel discovered that she genuinely enjoys multimedia and making content online.

On taking a break from acads, Hazel says that it's about following your own pace instead of dancing to the beat society sets for you. She says, "Hindi siya race. Hindi porket four years lang ang in-allot ng [school mo] para maka-graduate ka, mali na na nag-extend ka nang five years, mali na na parang hindi ka naka-graduate on time."

Hazel started her own business.

After years of earning from YouTube, sponsorships, buy and sell, and all the other ways she's earned income, Hazel was able to save up P2 million to use for her business venture called 11:11, a lifestyle brand which serves various beverages and desserts, including the fan-favorite milk tea. Her store in Maginhawa received so much love when it started that they sold out all otheir stocks on the very first day!

In a vlog, Hazel expressed how thankful she is for the support she's received because she's worked so hard and invested so much to put up her dream business. She even worked in the kitchen herself, cutting up the fruits and ingredients to be used in the drinks they will be serving. Talk about dedication!

Hazel bought her first piece of land at 23.

After setting up her business, Hazel decided to embark on her very first real estate investmenta piece of land in Tagaytay. Although she did plan to invest in real estate this year, Hazel shares that she was initially eyeing to dedicate her savings on something else. But she ended being really ecstatic over her first ever lupa!
