Dianne Medina Says She Almost Broke Things Off With Rodjun Cruz While Waiting To Be Proposed To

Those in long-term relationships may find this relatable—but Dianne Medina shared that she actually considered breaking things off with now-husband Rodjun Cruz because it took him so long to pop the question!

In a live cast session with PEP.ph, Dianne said that there was a point over their many years as a couple when she felt impatient over Rodjun not asking her the big question.

"Nung 10th year namin, sabi ko, 'Lord, parang sobra na yung relationship. Parang I’m not getting any younger."

"Kasi during that time, I was already 30, turning 31. Sabi ko, 'Pag ito wala pang nangyari, aalis na ako."

"Kasi siyempre kailangan ko rin ng… siyempre, I’m not getting any younger. May body clock yung babae so sabi ko, 'Naku, baka mamaya hindi naman ito talaga mag-propose at saka parang happy-go-lucky, nag-e-enjoy pa sa buhay-bata, e'."

As it turns out, Rodjun has actually been planning to propose and was just waiting for him to also turn 30. According to the actress, her husband told her that he only wanted to do it at that time to make the occasion even more special.

He popped the question to her back in 2017 while they were vacationing in Boracay. The pair are also now proud parents to baby Joaquin.

Dianne also thinks that everything happened in God’s time. So for those women out there who are currently in the same situation, you might find some comfort in her words: "Si Lord talaga lahat nag-aayos for you. As long as you pray for it, si Lord talaga lahat. Basta always pray for what God wants for you, not what you want."
