BONGGA na naman ang bagong paandar at pasabog ng Viva Entertainment sa pamumuno ni Boss Vic del Rosario at ng kanyang mga anak na sina Vincent at Valerie del Rosario.
Ang tinutukoy namin ay ang Viva Movie Box (VMB). Ito ang bagong vertical streaming platform na maglalaman ng microdramas na tig-1 to 3 minutes per episode.
Sa naganap na VMB launch nitong nagdaang Martes, November 4, siniguro ni Valerie, president at chief operating officer ng Studio Viva, Inc., na lahat ng kwentong mapapanood dito ay may puso at siyempre may tatak-Viva.
Bahagi pa rin ng selebrasyon ng 44th anniversary ng Viva ngayong taon ang pagpapakilala sa VMB sa mga manonood na mahilig sa Pinoy movies na may kuwento at may kuwenta.
Pahayag ni Valerie, “Medyo madaming episodes, pero lahat mahirap bitawan. Kaya po ang tagline natin ay ‘Mahirap Bumitaw,’ kasi ‘yan po ang susubukan naming gawin sa bawat episode na mapapanood po ninyo.
“From Vivamax to Viva One to now po na Viva Movie Box, challenge po namin lagi ay kung paano namin palalawigin ang pagpapakalat kung gaano kagaling ang ating mga artista, ang ating mga storytellers, ang mga tao behind the cameras.
“So dito po sa Viva Movie Box, ‘yan po ang susubukan namin ding gawin, ang maipakita, lalo pa ang galing ng mga Pilipino,” aniya pa.
Iba’t ibang genre ang bibida sa VMB, kabilang na ang romance, family drama, stylized (campy) narratives at adult-drama.
Ang mga unang pelikulang mapapanood dito ay ang mga sumusunod:
“Akin Ka Lang”, isang adult drama starring Nathalie Hart, Rhen Escaño, Albie Casiño, Shirley Fuentes at Ivan Padilla, directed by Christian Lat.
“Elisa: Batang Kabit,” tampok sina Abby Bautista, James Blanco, Sheree Bautista, Alex Payan, Liz Gonzales at Yayo Aguila sa ilalim ng direksyon ni Sigrid Polon.
“Maid for Revenge” nina Rose Van Ginkel, Cara Gonzales, Mon Confiado at Billy Villeta directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr..
“Love Forbids” starring Denise Esteban, Alex Medina, Akihiro Blanco, Apple Dy, Andrea Babierra at Pat Sugui, directed by Aya Topacio.
“Inagaw na Anak,” nina Louise delos Reyes at Althea Ruedas directed by Christian Lat.
“A Mistress’ Guide to Moving On”, nina Meg Imperial, Mayton Eugenio, Guji Lorenzana, Zsara Laxamana at Jean Kiley muka kay Direk Easy Ferrer.
“She’s Not My Sister” na pagbibidahan nina Ryza Cenon, Andrea Babierra, Andrea del Rosario, Jojo Abellana ay Pat Sugui sa direksyon ni Temi Cruz Abad.
Meron ding well-loved Asian microdramas, na minahal at naging hit sa viewers dahil sa kanilang consistent cliffhangers.
