On November 5, GMA Network released a teaser of the next Kapuso star and netizens are speculating that it could be none other than John Lloyd Cruz!
The teaser's copy reads, "He's HAPPY to be back," while the Instagram caption provided clues: "Multi-award actor, may malaking pasabog! Abangan iyan ngayong Martes."

Netizens were quick to post replies on GMA Network's photo, which was shared on the network's official Instagram and Facebook pages. Most of the comments speculated that it could be John Lloyd, while online sleuths made comparisons of the teaser with a photo of John Lloyd posted by the actor's agency, Crown Artist Management.

Apart from the wild guesses, (it could be anyone, really!) JLC's fans posted their enthusiasm for the actor's reunion with Kapuso talent Bea Alonzo, who was the actor's leading lady in the 2007 film One More Chance, or a possible team-up with Andrea Torres.

This year, John Lloyd made his TV comeback after a four-year hiatus in the Kapuso network following an appearance on the 6-6 Shoppee Mega Fiesta TV special that aired in June. After his appearance on the TV special, JLC had a meeting with GMA-7 executive Annette Gozon-Valdes, but details of the meeting were not publicized. In the same month, a rumor went around that Willie Revillame is producing a sitcom for GMA, which reportedly stars JLC and Andrea, with Willie announcing that JLC's co-star's initials are "A.T."
For now, it's all speculation that JLC *could* be the newest Kapuso artist until the big reveal on November 9.
