Markus Paterson Calls Baby Jude 'My Pride And Joy' On His First Birthday
On October 20, Markus Paterson and Janella Salvador's baby boy, Jude Trevor Paterson, turned one year old! To celebrate the occasion, the 23-year-old parents held an intimate party at home with black, gold, and silver decors. Markus posted a snap of the event and wrote in the caption, "Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Jude. We had such a great day."
They also prepped a Baby Boss-themed photoshoot for their little one with Janella sharing some adorbs pics of Baby Jude:
"The boss baby is 1."
"…and now he's off to Vegas in a Ferrari with his homeboy JJ. They grow up so fast."
But Markus went all sentimental on his Insta and posted a black and white video of his and Baby Jude's first moments together. "Jude at 1," he started his caption.
"Blows my mind that this year has gone by so [quickly], what a journey it's been not just for us but the whole world. Happy birthday, my son, my boy, my pride and joy."

Markus has been pretty vocal about his love for his son so much so that he gushed about their very first ~meeting~ when Baby Jude was born on October 20, 2020, in the United Kingdom. In an interview in January 2021, after Markus and Janella introduced Baby Jude to the world, Markus said: "Ang hirap i-explain pero the moment na I saw him, parang a whole wave just kind of took over my body, na lahat ng priorities ko noong time na 'yon nawala. It went out the window, like everything is now for him. Everything forever will always be for this little man that I'm holding in my arms. Hindi ako naiyak, hindi ako natawa, parang nakatulala lang ako, nakatitig sa kanya for hours. Until now, his smiles are the most beautiful thing in the world. Lahat ng hirap, lahat ng early morning wake up, sobrang worth it 'pag nakikita ko yung mukha niya."
And at a recent press con, he said that sharing posts about his son and their family life is a way to show how proud he is being a dad: "When it comes to social media, I can't help but be proud of the family that I have, the beautiful boy that I have. Whatever I post, if people decide to say things or to think that it's wrong to share that. If it might be too personal for social media, not for me. I'm just using social media to voice my emotions and to share my pride in my family."
