Cristy Fermin Slams Mikee Morada For Calling Out Lolit Solis On Claiming Alex Gonzaga Had Miscarried

Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin is not happy with how Mikee Morada responded to Lolit Solis' post about Alex Gonzaga reportedly suffering a miscarriage.

ICYDK, entertainment news writer Lolit took to IG to address rumors of Alex's pregnancy loss and of the Gonzaga family allegedly saving the news as an exclusive for Alex's vlog.

"Naawa naman ako sa balita na nakunan daw si Alex Gonzaga," Lolit wrote. "Kasi nga worried na worried ang mga followers niya at gusto malaman ang totoong nangyari pero may nagsabi na sa vlog na lang daw ni Alex o Toni Gonzaga hintayin."

Alex's husband, Mikee, did not take this post well. In a comment on Lolit's upload, he reacted, saying that he was hurt by her post as it not only talks about Alex but their relationship as a married couple. He also alluded to Lolit fabricating the news when she does not know the full story.

"Ma'am, masakit at nakakadismaya naman. Hindi lang patungkol kay Alex ang inyong sinulat; tungkol ito sa amin mag-asawa. Kaya hinihingi ko ang inyong pagrespeto. Huwag po kayong gumawa ng kuwento sa ganitong klaseng sitwasyon, lalo't hindi niyo naman alam ang totoong pangyayari. Salamat."

Lolit, later on, apologized to Mikee and Alex in two separate IG posts.

"If I have offended o may nasaktan [ako] dahil dito, I am very sorry," Lolit wrote. "Hindi iyon at never iyon ang naging intention ko nang isulat at i-post ko iyon."

"I will honestly say na I appreciate the very respectful comment of Alex Gonzaga's husband. Hindi iyon ang motibo ko, hindi iyon ang gusto ko. If I have offended and hurt you, I deeply apologize. I understand what you mean na very trying ang experience na ito para sa inyong mag-asawa."

Lolit also addressed how she would get bashed by netizens because of her post.

"Why give me that importance of wasting your energy hating, defaming, and [bullying] a 74-year-old woman if [it is of] no substance?"

"Sana bashers can use more respectable words; puwede naman magalit nang sosyal pa rin ang dating, mukhang edukado pa rin."

On her October 13 show of Cristy Ferminute, Cristy defended Lolit and her post, saying she felt it contained no malice at all.

"Wala talaga akong makitang hindi maganda sa bawat linya," Cristy said.

"Humingi po siya ng sorry dahil hindi po tama ang pagtanggap ni Konsehal Mikee, ni Alex, at ng Gonzaga family sa kanyang punto. 'Yon ang ipinanghingi niya ng paumanhin at 'saka po yung mga trolls at mga bashers na kung i-text po siya ngayon at padalhan ng mensahe, para po bang sila ang nagpapakain sa aking kaibigan."

Cristy went on to slam Mikee for his message to Lolit, calling him extremely sensitive when she feels there was nothing wrong with Lolit's post.

"Hindi pupuwede dito yung mga balat-sibuyas. Hindi pupuwede dito yung nagmamaasim na parang kamias na wala sa lugar." 

Cristy described Mikee's message as "sarcastic" and said that the right thing for him and Alex to do was to share with the press what really happened, as they are public figures, and not just share updates on Alex's vlog.

"Kung ilarawan ko yung ganitong klase ng text, isa itong sarkastikong pailalim. Dumudugo na ang sugat, hindi mo pa nararamdaman."

"Ang pinakamaganda dapat na ginawa dito ni Alex at ni Mikee ay ang ipagkatiwala sa mga press people kung ano talaga ang totoong nangyari para maiwasan ang pagsasalabat ng mga opinyon at balita."
