Andrea On Seth's Support When She Contracted COVID-19: 'Hindi ko maikaila yung effort na 'yon'

ICYMI, Andrea Brillantes revealed earlier this month in an interview with Boy Abunda that she had tested positive for COVID-19. She said that it was one of the toughest experiences in her life. "Okay naman po ako, physically, wala akong nararamdaman. Mahirap lang po mentally," she shared. In the daytime, she copes by reading books, but she finds herself struggling at night due to her insomnia, which she believes she got from working in the showbiz industry at such a young age.

In the mediacon for the finale of Huwang Kang Mangamba, Andrea shared that her longtime love team partner, Seth Fedelin, was a great source of support for her during her challenging isolation period.

“Ang pinaka-unforgettable sa akin is yung nagka-COVID ako and he was there for me. Hindi siya napagod na mag-video call kahit alam ko na puyat na puyat siya. Pinilit niya talaga na magising kasi alam niya na insomniac nga ako. Hindi ko maikaila yung effort na yun. Thank you for being very supportive and caring,” she said.

When asked to give a message to Seth, Andrea had nothing but encouraging words to say to him. "Huwag kang mangamba dahil kakampi mo din ako sa lahat at hindi lang ako kakampi mo, tagapagtanggol mo pa ako."

She also emphasized how much she cares for him, with or without their love team. "Hindi din kita pababayaan lalong lalo na kung feeling mo mawawala ka, alam mo na nandito ako bilang isang striktang kaibigan mo sa ‘yo at nandito ako para ipaalala lagi sa ‘yo kung bakit ka nagsimula."

"Nandito ako lagi para ipaalala sa ‘yo na maraming nagmamahal sa ‘yo, maraming sumusuporta sa ‘yo at maraming naniniwala sa ‘yo. Huwag kang mangamba dahil lagi lang akong nandito always 24/7,” she shared.

Andrea and Seth have been love team partners since the hit show Kadenang Ginto. Huwang Kang Mangamba is their second series together.
