You Guys, Newlyweds Angel Locsin And Neil Arce's House Tour Is Here

Two weeks ago, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce documented their preparations as they got ready to move into a new home together.

This time, Angel and Neil graciously opened their doors for an intimate look at the couple's new house in a vlog uploaded on August 21.

Announcing the house tour on Instagram, Angel wrote, "For the past months, it’s been our project to turn our new house into a home."

The actress added, "Definitely not as easy as we thought it would be, BUT it was worthwhile. Natutunan namin how to compromise and negotiate our own individual styles, and make OUR touches become more visible in every area."

In the video, Angel said that she and Neil looked at many houses and it took them a while to look for one. She said, "Syempre, kailangan komportable kami, okay sa locations ng trabaho namin, at kaya ng budget. For his business, kailangan mas accessible si Neil."

Angel and Neil shared that they even considered settling into a condominium. Neil said that they even argued about whose condo they'll be moving into. Angel added, "Hindi naman pwede both kasi magastos."

Eventually, Angel said that their house was offered by Neil's family and she called it a huge blessing. "Ayaw sana namin tanggapin kasi nakakahiya, ayaw namin umasa," Angel added.

Neil said that since it's an old house, the couple did a few renovations and credited Angel for most of the design. While the couple felt overwhelmed at first, their goal was to make turn their house into a home. Neil added, "Si Angel, since sobrang tutok niyang gawing home 'to, mi-nake sure niya na may pieces of me."

Angel said, "Etong simpleng project namin, hindi naman kami professional designers, pero we decided na [kami] muna mag-design ng bahay at mas tipid din."

The house, which is a mix of both Angel and Neil's personalities, is adorned with plenty of conversation pieces such as the unique wooden front door crafted by artist Claude Tayag. Throughout the first floor of the house, the couple chose to display artworks that they've collected over the yearsincluding a special Valentine's Day gift from Neil, a portrait of Angel's first love, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain
