It looks like Bea Alonzo is having the time of her life in California!

Following her much-talked-about network transfer to the Kapuso channel, the actress said that she already had plans of taking a vacation in the U.S. to re-energize before heading to work. She said, "Para pagbalik, tuloy-tuloy na yung work, and ‘yon din yung maire-release ko sa mundo—positive energy."

In her first post, Bea shared a "daily reminder" that "life is beautiful."

Bea also shared her thoughts on having missed traveling. Dining at Sugarfish in Santa Monica, the actress wrote: "I never intended for this trip to be like a food-crawl-type-of-trip, but it’s slowly becoming like one."

"I just realized how much I missed traveling and trying out new restaurants. Parang normal na lahat dito," she shared. 

Bea said that most people do not wear masks in the U.S. as most of them have already been vaccinated. She mused, "I can't help but think of home. I pray na sana magkaroon na rin tayo ng ganitong sense of normalcy. Pero ingat parin po tayo dahil may new variants nanaman.” 

Bea also got to enjoy some shopping and more food trips. In one of her posts, the actress can be seen carrying a Dior paper bag.

Bea also shared a super ~gorgeous~ drone shot that gives a more scenic view of Monterey Bay. The actress seems to be a fan of the American TV drama Big Little Lies which is set in Monterey. Bea captioned her post: "Big Little Lies feels."

Also in Monterey is Carmel-By-The-Sea, a city in Monterey known for its awesome scenery, historic sites, art galleries, restaurants, and boutique shops. In one of Bea's latest posts, the actress pondered on the phrase, "Stop and smell the roses."

"When I used to catch this phrase, I could never really understand what it truly means. When I was younger, I used to always chase my dreams, always in a hurry, not entirely absorbing and savoring the things that were happening around me," Bea wrote. 

She continued, "I was set to achieve my goals, and slowly, I did. But now looking back, I wish I could've taken the time to enjoy every moment, every victory, every pain, and every milestone. So today, I want to be more mindful and urge myself to take time to smell the roses and savor every moment."
