6 Binge-Worthy Dramas And Movies Starring *Red Velvet* Members

K-pop girl group Red Velvet debuted in 2014 with members Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, and Joy. The group's maknae (youngest), Yeri, joined the team in 2015. The girl's experimental approach and unique concepts continue to differentiate them from other artists. The duality they embrace, captured by their group name (Red for bright, fun, and cheerful, and Velvet for mature and soulful), has won fan support across the globe—cementing their spot among Hallyu's finest.

There's so much to love about these talented ladies, and we're so happy to see them crossover into the K-drama and K-movie universe. See them shine onscreen by adding these picks to your watchlist!

Early Projects

1. Female Employees Of A Game Company (2016)

The plot: This light-hearted slice of life web drama follows the lives and loves of three female employees who work at a mobile game company: Yeo Gi Hye (Lee Jiyeon), the team's driven and caring boss; Maci Mel (Lee Min Ji), the team's talkative (and opinionated!) designer; and soft-spoken game programmer Ah Reum (Irene), who is a closet cosplay junkie. The ladies are joined by Gom Gae Bal (Jang Dong Yoon), who falls for Ah Reum and makes it his mission to get closer to her as the story progresses. The drama packs a bright and playful punch with cute office moments that make the characters grow on you as they work towards achieving a common goal.
