OMG! NSYNC Actually Taught The Backstreet Boys The Dance Moves To 'Bye Bye Bye'
We thought we'd never see the day that two of the biggest boy bands during the '90s would be performing together, but it's finally happened.
Lance Bass actually uploaded on IG footage of himself and fellow NSYNC member Joey Fatone, along with the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter and AJ McLean *dancing* to "Bye Bye Bye." OMG.
"Teaching @backstreetboys the #ByeByeBye dance was a trip!"

The clip featured the boys just rehearsing the moves to the NSYNC hit and it just brought all those '90s boy band kilig feels all over again.
Lance, Joey, Nick, and AJ are actually part of a collab group called Back-Sync, which had a sold-out debut performance at the Grove in L.A. on Friday, June 18.
According to Variety, the collab was part of Bingo Under the Stars, a "nostalgia-fueled game night" hosted by the four pop stars. It's an event that supports Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community. Part of the ticket sales will also be donated to LA Pride.

ICYDK, the rivalry between NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys (BSB) was ~super fierce~ back in the day. We're talking about more than *two decades* ago. It melts our hearts just seeing some of their members together!
"It’s interesting to have the four of us knuckleheads do something together, which you’ve never seen before," Joey told Variety. "BSB fans are very loyal, so we’re going, 'We get it—certain people liked one band or the other back in the day, but now, it’s okay to like both.'"
When Variety asked Nick if he ever thought BSB would actually end up working with NSYNC, he replied, "Twenty years ago? Hell no! I’m kidding because I still don’t understand why we didn’t get an opportunity to do more things together. But we learned that it was managers and stuff happening behind the scenes that prevented it. Better late than never, right?"

It looks like Back-Sync has more projects up ahead. AJ's actually hoping for a Las Vegas residency and Nick is considering working with more boy bands (like 98 Degrees, New Kids On The Block, or O-Town!) to possibly create a supergroup, produce an album, and even go on tour. "Whoever’s available, we’ll take them!" Nick said. We're so crossing our fingers!
This isn't the first time that NSYNC, BSB, 98 Degrees, and O-Town have collaborated. In 2015, Nick actually directed a zombie film called Dead 7, which starred Nick, AJ, Howie D., Joey, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The same boy band members also recorded the movie's theme song "In The End" with 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada.
