On Instagram, the 39-year-old actress shared, "Five months today and we are ecstatic to announce that we are having a BOY!"

Desiree and Boom had a virtual gender reveal party on June 9 which was attended by the couple's family. Desiree also shared several shots of her ultrasound scan that revealed the good news.

In another post, Desiree shared clips of the family's virtual get-together and wrote: "Just wanted to share with all of you moments we had with the family yesterday during our gender reveal."

Desiree and Boom both worked together in the 2012 TV series Aryana and in 2015 in the drama FlordeLiza. The pair officially tied the knot in 2018.
